Hi, my name is Marlene Denny and I live in Saranac, Michigan. I’m currently an RN and I’ve been an RN for approximately six and a half years. I’m working at a small hospital in the emergency room here in Michigan. I used Rue’s CPNE video. It showed you every step of the way. It told you exactly what is expected of you. It’s very clear and very concise. The specific things I liked about the video is how they would stop and give you time to think about something, how they would expect you to do things the way the study guide had taught you, and think about each critical element you would need to study, and you could go from there. It was really quite helpful.
Getting my RN has had a big effect on my life. It changed my income a lot and I’ve learned a lot about people, just about healthcare in general. Every day is a new experience, I feel really lucky and it seems like that’s what I was supposed to do. I had my director of nursing talk to a girl that was thinking about going through the Rue program and she told her that I, and another girl that had gone through it, were two of the best nurses and that was the best compliment I could get.
Rue is a research and development firm that supplies focused learning materials for nursing students challenging nationally recognized standardized exams, which can be used to earn credits toward an ASN degree from an accredited college. Rue is not a degree granting institution.
