Rue Education Supports The Fight Against Breast Cancer

Monday, October 01, 2012

To support Breast Cancer Awareness month this October, Rue Education has announced that it will coordinate several different initiatives towards their overall “Go Pink” campaign. Rue Education’s “Go Pink” campaign will consist of a variety of positive messages to drive awareness to the most common type of cancer in women.

During the month of October, Rue Education will donate a portion of their proceeds to an organization that provides preventive care and treatment to those in need. This program benefits those who may not be able to afford services and gives them free access to state of the art mammograms. The Rue Education “Go Pink” campaign will also include aesthetic changes to all web properties associated with Rue Education including changing the Rue Education logo to reflect their support of breast cancer awareness month. The incorporation of the pink ribbon is to help customers to automatically connect with Rue Education’s efforts and to show support for this cause.

Other highlights of the campaign will include adding clickable link reminders for breast cancer checkups to the bottom of emails, blog postings with educational information regarding foods that may reduce breast cancer risk, and more. The entire Go-Pink campaign encompasses as many facets as possible to draw awareness and to help raise funding towards a cure.
