LPN Refresher Course Helps LPNs/LVNs Get Back on Track

Tuesday, October 05, 2010

The National Association for Practical Nurse Education and Service, Inc. (NAPNES) and Innovative Academic Solutions launched an LPN Refresher Course to LPNs/LVNs who would like to reactivate an inactive license, update their current knowledge and skills, and/or wish to return to active practice.

The online, self-study, self-paced refresher course is specifically geared toward previously-licensed LPNs or LVNs and is approved by NAPNES for 240 total contact hours.

The NAPNES Approved LPN/LVN Refresher Course consists of a three-phase process:

  • 80 hours of theory (presented online)
  • 200-question multiple-choice final exam
  • 120 hours of clinical practice in an approved healthcare facility

LPNs/LVNs interested in the refresher course must meet certain eligibility and registration requirements. These can be found on the LPN Refresher Course Eligibility page at www.LPNRefresherCourse.com.

Do you know of an LPN/LVN that is in need of reactivating an inactive license, or who would like to update current knowledge and skills?  The LPN Refresher Course might be the right fit!
