Rue Education is Proud to be Recognized as Meeting Excelsior College’s Best Practices for Test Preparation Providers

Rue Education has twenty years of experience helping nurses and other health professionals prepare for, and obtain, ASN and BSN degrees from Excelsior College. In 2007, Excelsior announced a Best Practices Designation program for test preparation companies. Excelsior wanted to establish guidelines to assure that nurses would be able to identify educational service companies that were committed to the highest levels of quality and that were accurately promoting the Excelsior program.

As part of Rue’s long standing commitment to supporting healthcare students, the company applied for a best practices review to demonstrate that it met Excelsior’s stringent quality criteria. Shortly after submitting the request, Rue was asked to complete a lengthy application form to familiarize Excelsior with the company’s business practices, management team, study materials and student success track record.

Once the written information was provided and reviewed, Excelsior personnel visited the Rue corporate headquarters in Clearwater, Florida. We were honored and excited to have the Excelsior best practices review team meet with us and review our policies, materials, and academic support services. About one month after the visit, Excelsior notified Rue that it had qualified for the best practices designation.

To date, Rue Education is the only full service education services company to be designated as a best practices service provider by Excelsior. Rue will continue to voluntarily adhere to Excelsior’s best practices guidelines.
